In a nutshell I’m mid 30’s and full of attributes which mean I see the world through a whole lotta privilege…

I’m straight, cis-gendered, middle-class-ish, Caucasian, English speaking, without major physical or mental challenges. I’m doing my best to understand how my view of the world is a minority one and I’m open to people pointing it out when I forget to remember that.

I have a partner, two girls, two dogs, a cat and two fish.

I live near Wellington, New Zealand and have done for the last 9-ish years. I’ve also lived in Switzerland, New York, South Africa and Ireland. I’ve traveled quite a bit as well.

I blog because I like to think out loud and I enjoy debate. This is a way to practice writing. It gives me a place to show off my craft and rant and rave about my kids (probably in that order).
